I had a guy a few years ago repair one that showed up in the middle of my windshield (different car). You couldn't even find the crack when he finished with it. I just have to wait until Monday to find out if this one can be repaired or not. I'm getting two opinions if the first person says no. A tiny rock nicked my windshield one time and eventually, I had a crack run out from both sides of the "nick" until I had a solid line all the way across my windshield. You will probably have to just replace it unless you want to drive with it like that. Didn't bother me much, cuz I was too poor to buy a new windshield, so I just sucked it up...as usual.
