Welcome to Geek Dad’s Guide to Free Stuff! If you’re looking to get some free stuff/cash on the internet, this is how I get it (and it works great for me).

If you came here (or if you were linked here) looking for a specific website or payment proof that used to be here, I do tend to remove sites that, though they may have been great sites at one time, have slowed down a lot. I not only want to list sites that work, but I want to list the sites that work well.

Please just be sure to read the rules/FAQ/TOS on each website and follow them. I only refer you to these sites, but your actions on them are your responsibility.

These sites have one thing in common: they are NOT get rich quick schemes (even if you do get lucky and win something large immediately). They are honest, legitimate websites that require time and effort. Good luck! If you need any help or have any questions, I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.

GPT site: Points4Rewards allows for you to earn points and cash for completing trials, offers, surveys, etc. to get Amazon gift cards (weekly) or PayPal (instant!). Minimum payout is $5 (or 500 points). From the site: Paypal payments are sent instantly. Gift cards are sent on a weekly basis via email. Gift cards requested by Monday at 11:59PM EST will be ordered by the following Monday. Members with incomplete or inaccurate account information will not get paid.

Points4Rewards is for users 18+ in the USA.

SimpleGPT – Click to join!

GPT site: “Get Paid To” complete offers, surveys, trials, etc. for gift cards and cash (INSTANT PAYPAL!).

The minimum payout is $5, which is very easy to get to! Many users earn over $100 in their first month. Read the Tips/FAQ page and Forums for best results. There are lots of contests to participate in, such as completing the most offers and getting the most referrals. Two referral tiers: 15% for the first level and 5% for the second.

SimpleGPT is for users 18+ in the USA.

PrizeRebel – Click to join!

GPT site: Video game based. Prizes are mostly along the lines of gaming, music, etc. but custom prizes are available so you can order pretty much anything you want with your points. Points:Cash = 1:$1. PrizeRebel is a larger GPT site with a a lot of members, and it allows for members 13+ in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. If you’re looking for a points based GPT site and you’re under 18 years of age (but at least 13), or if you’re not in the USA then you should check out PrizeRebel.

CashPirate – Click to join!

GPT site: Pirates are awesome (but ninjas are better – just accept it) – Anyway, if you’re looking for a great site with lots of great offers and super fast payment (instant paypal and daily amazon) then this is it!

CashPirate accepts registration from users 13+ (w/ parental permission if under 18) and multiple countries (US, UK, and CA).

Notes: Payment proof added 5/15/2009 – Received payment immediately. When they say “instant” they aren’t just pulling your peg-leg.

SwagBucks – Click to join!

Search & Win site: While searching the web (with search results by Google and Ask) you randomly win various amounts of “swagbucks” in your searches. The “swagbucks” can be used to purchase items in the SwagBucks store. Watch the SwagBucks blog for other ways to win plus proof of items received sent in by other members! Swagcodes have been released, so be sure to watch for those for more free swagbucks! There are a lot of Search & Win sites on the internet but this is the best one out there. Use it as your primary search engine and you’ll see the swagbucks add up! It has worked well for me Don’t miss out!

Instant Cash Sweepstakes – Click to join!

Instant Win: This is a very fun site. Answer three survey questions and you win instantly! You have a chance to win points towards the weekly drawing, or cash. You can request payment after you have reached only $2! You get the opportunity to complete a set of surveys every 3 hours! This is a new change — it used to be every 6 hours. I have enjoyed the surveys, and so will you! Be sure to check it out.

Notes: I was very surprised (and excited) when I won $2.50 after completing a survey. I couldn’t resist cashing out so that I could make a post! I cashed out and received payment within just a few hours!

I know that there are scam sites out there but I put effort into keeping such sites out of this list. Some people believe that “all of those sites” are scams and this is untrue. However, make sure that you research any site before you join it.
